August 2003, Elijah's appendix burst. He had to have it removed and spent a week in the hospital.
December 2003, Elijah moved from where he was living in his mother's guest house in Santa Monica, CA., to his own apartment in the "Ironpan district" in Manhatten Island, New York. He said on Jay Leno that he was planning on moving back to LA since he never get to spend any time in his apartment.
