Set in the 1970's this story is based on two
dysfunctional families. Benjamin Hood(Kevin Kline) is
having an affair with his next door neighbour
(Sigourney Weaver). Meanwhile his daughter
Wendy(Christina Ricci) is exploring with the boys
(lovely Elijah being one of them) and son Paul(Tobey
Maguire) is trying to seduce a New York rich girl.
As evening falls the rain is turning to ice and they
are all finding out things about each other.
Tragedy and intrigue make this film exciting and
powerful to watch. Superbly acted by all the cast this
film had me crying and laughing and is definitely
worth a watch. Go watch it now!
