It all started when I was at my grandparents house, my grandpa was reading the paper, and I walked past the chair where he was sitting. All of a sudden I noticed out of the corner of my eye that their was a huge picture of Elijah Jordan Wood on it.

I was like "wow! " So I asked him if I could have it. It was the picture of him stepping out of his trailer on the set of Try Seventeen. It gave a small little speel about his whereabouts. It sent my mind racing. I had to find him. He was in Vancouver, 45 minutes away from my house. This was my chance. So, for the next 3 weeks I spent countless hours trying to find people on the internet, anything that had a connection to Elijah.

I finally found a girl who lives in Vancouver and had met Elijah and knew his whereabouts. It was really hard conversing over the net, so I called her. She was so nice and kept me updated about everything. Then convincing the parents came. But they eventually gave in. The day came. I went to the place where they were shooting....then I got there and there was nothing. Just a clean up crew. My heart dropped. I wanted to cry.

There was this girl there, that sorta looked important, so I went up to her and said; "Is this where the set is? "

She was like, "No, sorry they finished up her yesterday."

I was like, "Oh... do you know where the set today is?"

And she said " No. Well... yes... but you can never tell anyone I told you."

So she made a couple phone calls and got directions for me. I was so thankful. So we took off again, the new set was about… an hour from where we were, so we got on the road a.s.a.p. We found the new set. And I looked and saw Lij's trailer. I wanted to cry more than anything. I was so happy. So I took my poster and book and marched up to this lady that had a walkie-talkie and said, "Could I possibly talk to Elijah when he is having a break or whatever?"

She was like "Oh it'll probably be about....six hours."

I was like yeaaaa right, I knew she just wanted me out of there.

I asked "Can I at least wait for awhile? I drove a long ways."

And she said "Sure..." So I sat along these railroad tracks for about an hour. When all of a sudden a car drove past me attached to it were camera's, a director, Elijah Wood and Franka Potente. I was in shock. I didn't know what to do because they were filming and I didn't want to screw up any shots. I just sat still... in shock. I realized that they were doing highway shots.

I watched them drive back and forth on the highway for about.. two hours. Then I saw the vehicle pull in, close to where I was. I sat there.... not sure what to do. Then I saw Elijah jump out of the car and run with pizza to his trailer. (right across from where I was.) I thought, "this is it." So I waited for him to finish his pizza or whatever in his trailer ( which was a winnibago if anyone wants to know and gets that joke) and then I saw the door open. He started walking back to his set.

This was my time...I stood up, walked over and called "Elijah!"

He stopped. "Yeah?"

"Could I possibly have a picture and an autograph?"

"Yeah, for sure but I have to be quick because you caught me right in between sets."

"Yeah, of course no problem."

So he signed my poster my book and gave me a picture. The guy that took the picture of us couldn't figure out how to work the camera and was stupid. Haha. Elijah fixed my camera for me. *sigh* And that's it. I cried the entire way home.
